Portsmouth Tattoo Fest
Tattoo Fest has arrived on our shores to bring you some of the best tattoo artists from all over the country! Come and join us at Pyramids Plaza for this 2 day event and watch live tattooing from 65+ artists. Live entertainment will also feature heavily over the weekend with live music and burlesque shows. Tattoo competitions will also take place, featuring Rival Ink, where artists compete at a selected theme of tattoo and have 6 hours to complete the challenge.
Butser Ancient Farm
Beltain festival is the ancient Celtic celebration to mark the beginning of summer, with music, dancing and the burning of the giant wickerman.
Arundel Cathedral Corpus Christi Carpet of Flowers
For 100 years, Arundel Cathedral has celebrated the feast of Corpus Christi with a festival of flowers, which includes a magnificent carpet of flowers in the central aisle, laid by parishioners. Arundel Cathedral is located approx. 30 minutes from The Brookfield Hotel.
Stansted Park MG’s in the park

Kitesurfing Armada Festival
The Kitesurfing Armada is a unique kitesurfing festival held on Hayling Island, bringing the kitesurfing community together for one fantastic weekend of kiting, music, fundraising and record breaking.
Every year during July Lordington Lavender open their gates for us to enjoy their heavenly fields of stunning lavender. Dates are to be announced but this is usually the 3rd or 4th week in July. Lordington Lavender is located approx. 10 minutes from the The Brookfield Hotel.
Sir Tom Jones at Rowlands Castle
18th July 2018
MUSIC legend Sir Tom Jones will bring his 2018 tour to Rowlands Castle this summer. The Welsh musician is performing at stately homes across the UK including Stansted Park on July 18. The site is a popular venue with Sir Cliff Richard holding a gig there last year as did Alfie Boe and Michael Ball. Sir Tom’s concert will be a celebration of a career spanning six decades that has seen him sell 100 million records and win a number of awards including a Brit for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

Great South Run
The world's leading 10 mile running event returns to Portsmouth. This fast and flat course starts and finishes on Southsea sea front, with beautiful views of the Solent. Participants are given special permission to run through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home to HMS Victory and the Mary Rose Museum.

Experience the magic of Christmas at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard this winter with the return of The Victorian Festival of Christmas. All the family favourites are back, including Fagin’s Tavern, where you’ll find winter warmers and a number of bands playing seasonal songs. You will of course find the traditional Father Christmas, dressed in green, at what is one of the biggest Christmas festivals on the south coast. As you are transported back to a bygone era on Dickensian snowy streets, why not shop for festive gifts in the Christmas Market, which has over 150 stalls selling the finest hand-crafted goods. The Dockyard is located 15 minutes drive from The Brookfield Hotel or take the bus from outside the Hotel to the Dockyard.
